Delete your TabVault account

You can delete your TabVault account and all of its data at any time.

In the app

  1. Open TabVault and go to Profile.
  2. Tap Account & data.
  3. Tap Delete account and confirm.

Your account is deleted right away.

Without the app

Email [email protected] from the email address you signed up with, with the subject Delete my TabVault account. We'll confirm and delete it within 7 days.

What is deleted

Everything: your login, purchases, receipt photos and PDFs, settings, monthly reviews, activity, AI usage records and feedback. The app also erases its copy on your phone. Copies in our providers' backups, if any, are removed when those backups expire.

What is kept

Nothing that identifies you. Our monitoring only keeps totals across all users, such as how many receipts were added in a day. To stop the free limits for new accounts being reset by deleting and signing up again, we keep a scrambled code made from your email address (it can't be turned back into the email), with how many times it deleted an account and a few counts from the last one, for 12 months. Internal reports we already received stay with us, but they only refer to accounts by a short random ID that no longer links to anything once the account is deleted. If a request or problem report you sent us included something personal, email us and we'll remove it.

Subscriptions

Deleting your account doesn't cancel a subscription bought through Google Play or the App Store. Cancel it in your store's subscription settings too (see the Refund Policy).
